Team Member Roles And Descriptions

  • As a Sunday School Teacher at Trinity Church, you play a vital role in nurturing the spiritual growth of our congregation members. Your responsibilities include preparing and delivering engaging biblical lessons, fostering a safe and welcoming environment, and guiding your Sunday school class in understanding and applying the bible in their lives. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to impact lives by imparting wisdom, fostering curiosity, and nurturing a deep connection with their faith.

    Qualifications:

    • Commitment to Trinity and leadership

    • High people skills

    • Teaching

    • Focused on making others welcome

    Direct Report: Executive Pastor

    Time Commitment: Sunday School generally has two semesters per year (winter/spring) and meet weekly for 12 weeks during those semesters. These schedules are flexible.

    Length of Commitment: Through August 2024

  • A small group leader creates environments for discipleship and relationship. There are a variety of styles for these groups. The small group facilitator leads the discussion time of the gatherings and brings pastoral care to the group.

    Home groups: typically, these groups meet in homes in groups from 6 to 15 people. These groups spend time in fellowship and then discussion around a prepared topic (book, video, etc.,)

    Interest groups: these groups gather around common interests ie., running, games, gardening. While the common interest brings them together relationally, spiritual formation and discipleship should be priority.

    Other: there are many right ways to do LifeGroups. Be creative and reach out if you have other ideas.

    Direct Report: Executive Pastor

    Time Commitment: LifeGroups generally have two semesters per year (winter/spring) and meet weekly for 12 weeks during those semesters. These schedules are flexible.

    Length of Commitment: Through August 2024

  • A small group hosts creates environments for discipleship and relationship. There are a variety of styles for these groups. The small group hosts opens their home to the group creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

    Qualifications:

    • Commitment to Trinity and leadership

    • Hospitality

    Direct Report: Executive Pastor

  • A LifeGroup teacher leads a classroom type environment that focuses on discipleship. Sunday school classes and mid-week classes are offered. Curriculum is focused on Bible book studies, and other Christian living topics.

    Qualifications:

    • Commitment to Trinity and leadership

    • High people skills

    • Teaching

    • Focused on making others welcome
